Ron started buying and selling cars for family & friends that wanted the reassurance that Ron had checked the car over and rectified any faults prior to ownership. Over 3 Hours Work inspected by someone that cares
Whilst we love a check sheet, Inspection is key. On average each vehicle undertakes over 3 hours mechanical preparation, this robust process follows a stringent 99 point checklist carried out by one of our highly skilled Technicians who personally undertake all work required.
Our Vehicle Preparation Manager who has been with us for over 30 years personally inspects every car. First when the vehicles arrives at our Tredegar facility to assess what work needs undertaking, inspecting for a second time once the vehicle is complete to ensure the very best quality has been met each and every time.
When buying from Ron Skinner & Sons you can be assured your new car will be prepared to the following standards:
- All cars goes through our Multi Point Mechanical Inspection plus Service if required
- New MOT if Less than 7 Months remaining
- Brakes replaced if more than 60% Worn
- Tyres Replaced if less than 3mm (legal Minimum 1.6MM)

Walking around our showrooms you cannot help but be impressed by how good our vehicles look, this is because we take time to individually asses every vehicle. All vehicles are washed and inspected for body damage, only then can we fully identify what rectification may be required.

Having started his working life in the Valeting bay at 16 years Old Philip takes great pride in how our vehicles are presented. Our team of 20 Valeters are all Autoglym trained and share our passion for great looking cars, at Ron Skinner & Son's Cars are not valeted to a time schedule, the team spend as much time as they need to ensure our Cars look the very best. All vehicles are:

- Exterior Machine Polished & Waxed
- All Glass cleaned and polished inside and out
- Engine bay and vehicle underbody fully steam cleaned
